SCORE '100' OUT OF '100' IN PAPER I & '250' OUT OF '350' IN CBSE UGC NET, DECEMBER 2016 AND WBCSC SET, FEBRUARY 2017
OUR MISSION....OUR VISION
The name of our institute, as evident from our website, is sufficiently self-explanatory. Our objective is to channelize the latent qualities of innumerable “highly qualified” job-seeking youths to procure professorship. They are highly qualified in the sense that they have scored excellent marks or grades right from the class X level examination up to the post graduate level. Nevertheless, can any sensible man of today deny that higher education is being rapidly democratized by the statesmen of our country at the expense of the quality of education. Consequently, degree-holders cannot confidently claim themselves properly deserving & equipped. No one alone is responsible for this and you are definitely a victim of the system.
Now the question comes up why this institute focuses merely on professorship ignoring different other competitive examinations including WBCS, IAS, IFS and the like. Being involved in this profession for near-about two decades and having seen the people of this profession at home & outside, I am convinced that since the time a student enters into the college-life by crossing the boundary of school, he / she creates an aura around the professors (definitely successful ones), he / she comes in contact with and right from that moment, he / she is filled with a sense of hero-worship for them. Apart from this idealistic attitude, if compared with the other jobs, even with the jobs of a magistrate & other civil servants, from the lucrative point of view, it is definitely more alluring. A good number of youths, after crossing the last gate-way of higher education, dream of living in a creative world in company with young boys & girls, many of whom share with the same idealistic and creative attitude.
Now to bring “professorship in your grip” is neither a herculean task, nor an easy one. Undoubtedly, you do have potentialities of your own, but due to lack of proper techniques and above all a sympathetic and encouraging fillip, the obstacles to reach your goal seem too difficult to be surmounted. That is why we have come forward with the motto of bringing the balls in your own court.
Let us now briefly analyse the obstacles step by step you have to face to reach the goal and present before you the ways to overcome them:--
i) To obtain 55% marks in the post-graduate examination in your respective subject is the first must-step which is however beyond our purview,
ii) To prepare yourselves for the NET which is a pan-Indian system of screening the qualified aspirants for professorship & the SET which is restricted to our own state of West Bengal,
iii) Now either in the NET or the SET, there is a General paper of 100 marks and another paper of 250 marks of your own subjects,
We shall start with the general paper which is designed to test the level of your awareness of your own surroundings. For this we must orient you in such a way that apart from supplying adequate materials to each of you, you will be made inquisitive as to all that you observe around you. [See the “Steps of teaching” page] It is to be strictly kept in mind that it is a compulsory paper and if you do not obtain at least the qualifying marks, your subject papers will not be evaluated, however, well you may perform in those papers. Moreover, you have studied your subjects both intensively and extensively during the last five years or even more.
These apart, after having qualified in this compulsory general paper of 100 marks & the subject-paper of 250 marks when you are declared as NET-eligible or SET-eligible candidate, you have to concentrate on paper-publication in reputed peer-reviewed journals with ISSN to enhance your API score, so that your position in the final panel published by the W.B.C.S.C. may be ensured to procure this job. This forum, termed by us as the research-publication forum, will be made available to you from our institute.
